I started with the company in July 2019 as a receptionist and 7 months later I progressed to my current role as Admin Assistant. I really love working for WaterWipes, the spirit and culture of the business is just wonderful. Plus the support we've received through working from home has just been incredible.
I have been working for WaterWipes for 6 years now and it has been a great journey. I started off as a maintenance engineer and have moved into a maintenance lead position recently. I have also just completed my level 7 in automation engineering in Blanchardstown University Dublin. It was very exciting to be involved in so many projects accompanying the growth of the company and there's still more to do.
WaterWipes' unique culture - The very genuine commitment to doing good for people, parents & the planet which, as an employee, you see in operation throughout the company on a daily basis. It is hugely motivating to know that you are part of an organization who are scaling exponentially and disrupting the market, but doing so in a way which is compassionate towards the world around us.
I joined back in 2017 and one thing that has been consistent in that time is change. It is unrecognisable as business in many ways, because of the sheer growth and success of the brand and the business. Change has always been in the right direction and for the right reasons, but one of things that hasn't changed is the entrepreneurial spirit that the business is built on. People have a lot of energy and passion for the brand and bring a lot of energy individually to the roles and their enthusiasm and positivity is really contagious.
The thing I love most about working for WaterWipes is the passion and drive that I see in the people all around me. Everyone is determined to make our business succeed (and have some fun at the same time ?) I also appreciate the culture and camaraderie, especially since we are all remote employees in the US. We get together quarterly for team building, workshops and continued learning, which makes a huge difference in our team dynamics and mental health.
