Creating long lasting change and a sustainable future

In 2023, we measured our Scope 1 and 2 carbon emissions and set a target of 42% reduction by 2030. We have committed to measure and reduce scope 3 emissions.

This year we also successfully implemented LEAN transformation to increase efficiencies, reduce energy usage and enable us to sustainably deliver more value to customers.

What is LEAN transformation?

The Lean Transformation Framework is a proven, systematic approach to resolving problems at every level of the enterprise, from executive-level strategy to frontline operations. Whether you lead an established organisation or a startup, you can use the Framework to address any trouble issue by answering its five questions. The questions guide you through the fundamental questions of purpose, process, and people, which will help you to identify solutions that align with all three.

What is Scope 1,2, and 3 Emissions?

Scope 1 – Direct emissions from sources that are owned or controlled by an organisation.

  • Company–owned vehicles/ Fuel combustion

Scope 2 – Indirect emissions from the consumption of purchased electricity, heat, or steam.

  • Electricity consumption/ Heat/A.C. consumption/ Steam consumption

Scope 3 – Indirect emissions resulting from the activities of an organisation, but not included in Scope 2.

  • Waste disposal/ Purchased goods/ Business travel
