Nominations are now open
If you are a new or expectant parent and would like to nominate a healthcare professional involved in your pre or post-pregnancy journey read more below. If you are a healthcare professional, you can also nominate yourself or a colleague.
The COVID-19 health crisis has highlighted the importance of human connection. The pandemic has opened our eyes to the dedication of our healthcare heroes who have gone above and beyond to provide support, compassion and care for others.
A whole host of healthcare professionals are involved in the pregnancy, birth and post-natal journey; including midwives, doctors, nurses, surgeons, anaesthetists, obstetricians, neonatal professionals and health visitors – to name a few! These are the hands that touch the lives of expectant and new parents, both physically and emotionally. From the first scans and antenatal care; to the hands that deliver the baby, make the c-section incision, and comfort a premature baby. These are the hands that bring so many lives into the world, yet often remain anonymous. That is why WaterWipes want to recognise and celebrate their incredible work – to put faces and names to the hands and to tell the remarkable stories of the lives they have touched.
