At WaterWipes we pride ourselves on making the world’s purest baby wipe for newborn and sensitive skin. We fully understand that we also have responsibility to help protect the planet your little one will inherit. We previously made a commitment to having a 100% biodegradable solution without compromising on the purity of our product in 2020. Unfortunately the COVID-19 situation has caused many issues with supply chains due to the unprecedented demands placed on them. Because of this, we’re sadly not going to be able to bring our customers biodegradable wipes until 2021. We are disappointed that we can’t bring you a sustainable option sooner, but we will continue to work closely with our suppliers during these unprecedented times, so you and your little ones can enjoy our biodegradable WaterWipes as soon as possible.
The terms flushable and biodegradable are often used interchangeably, but they are very different. No wipes, including biodegradable wipes, should be flushed. Often, even flushable wipes take time to break down in our sewer systems. Disposing of wipes with the household rubbish is the best way to help protect our environment.
